Frequently Asked Questions
How long is a physio session?
- First or new assessments are 45 – 60 minutes including treatment, and follow-up sessions average 45 minutes.
Are we contracted in to Medical aids?
- We are not ”contracted in” , however we will generate an invoice with all the relevant code for you to submit claims electronically/ directly to your medical aid. Any shortfall of payment from your medical aid for physiotherapy services rendered remain patient liable
Do we charge medical aid rates?
- Yes we do, we charge rates specified by each medical aid as per the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). These rates are revised annually
How much are private rates?
Accepted Payment methods
- Cash, credit and debit cards are accepted, although regrettably we do not accept Diners Card or American Express credit cards.
Are our physios qualified?
- All our physios are registered with both the HPCSA and the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP). We also keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in treatment techniques by attending courses and conferences annually
